Our theme for 2025 is Myths and Legends
Enjoy music inspired by King Arthur, extracts from Edvard Greig’s Peer Gynt, extracts from Stravinsky's Firebird as well as some lighter modern legends: Star Wars, Dr Who, Harry Potter and Wicked; blending folklore, fantasy, science fiction, drama, action and romance in a highly entertaining programme.
Poulton Hall Gardens Open Days. Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th April 2025 from 2.15pm-5.00pm
Come and join us for the premiere performance of our Myths and Legends programme in the beautiful setting of Poulton Hall Gardens. Enjoy music inspired by King Arthur, Robin Hood and other more modern myths and legends in the walled gardens at Poulton Hall. The gardens are a prefect setting as they have sculptures and statues that represent myths and legends, including Sean Rice's The Sword in the Stone and Jim Heath’s carved beech statue of Robin Hood. The events are in aid of the National Gardens Scheme.

Heswall Concert Band are pleased to announce that they are providing the musical accompaniment for these concerts.
Birkenhead Priory
Sunday 22nd June 2025 from 2pm- 4pm
Enjoy music inspired by King Arthur, Robin Hood other more modern myths legends in the historic setting of Birkenhead Priory.
Birkenhead Priory, a 870 year old site, has a history that includes royalty, the birth of a city, and a religious life. Sitting on the banks of the Mersey, the Priory is the gateway to understanding how the Wirral grew over almost 1,000 years.
