Heswall Concert Band (HCB) is a wind band run by friendly musicians for friendly musicians, with an age range from sixteen to seventy (and beyond) and all abilities from beginner to players with music degrees.

We play many genres of music including concert band classics, music from shows and films and even music composed and arranged by some of our members. We perform at a variety of venues each year and are always working on new opportunities that will develop our community links. 

 Our conductor is Greg Williams who has led the band since 2023.  

The Band encourages high standards of performance and musicianship in a wide range of material, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with an emphasis on learning and personal musical development, whilst contributing to the local community and having an enjoyable experience.

If you are enthusiastic, have an instrument and are willing to practice and rehearse, you will come on in leaps and bounds, whilst meeting lots of new friends.
